A NEW GIANT FOR MAXIKRAFT

Children discover the world! This time: The Bauma, the world's largest trade fair for the construction machinery industry in Munich. At the end of October, our crane manufacturer Liebherr presented the latest acquisition of the MAXIKraft Group, the brand new LR 1700-1.0 crawler crane that was specially made for us.
Maxi and Lukas, two boys from the Bavarian capital, were amazed at the huge lattice boom crane when they visited the exhibition grounds. They were allowed to climb over the basic machine and the crawler chassis and ask the experts from Liebherr a hole in the stomach. After all, the LR 1700-1.0 can not only lift 700 tons. Its boom can be set up more than 195 meters high in the configuration for MAXKraft: it has a 165-meter main boom and a fixed jib that is up to 39 meters long!
MAXIKraft will now use the crawler crane primarily to erect large new wind turbines and to build bridges. The LR 1700-1.0 is stationed at the headquarters in Züllsdorf - but it is always on the move and in action. The keys to the giant crane were ceremoniously handed over to our team for large cranes and our visiting branch managers during the trade fair.
Maxi and Lukas are already looking forward to their future job - as a crane operator!
